Nothing is more important than keeping our children safe at school and providing them the resources and supports they need. Voting yes on the referendum will ensure this happens.

Because of the fiscal deficits projected in future years, unless the district receives additional funding, difficult decisions will need to be made to balance the budget as early as March of 2026. This includes decreased staff and student support as well as delayed facility maintenance.

If we pass the referendum, the district will be able to avoid these steps and instead can implement key improvements we have requested, including increasing student safety and supports.

The district will be able to enhance safety and security, including improved alert and notification devices, internal communication tools, and property infrastructure such as playground fencing and intercom systems.

The district will also be able to pursue increases in student resources and supports, continuing our current trajectory of improved academic outcomes and stronger social and emotional skills.

Vote yes to keep our children safe, maintain and improve facilities, and make District 45 a destination district, raising home values for all district homeowners.
